the giant roadway. They'll wind their way through the rotary and 1-
& 2-way traffic, all around the town. Providing unlimited
educational and play adventures, the Giant Road Play Carpet helps
kids develop motor shills while driving their own trains, planes or
toy cars to school and stores and down the streets.

Unwrap it, unroll it and let your
kids do the rest - they'll know exactly how this carpet
works! Kids often encounter cool carpets like this
at school or day care - now they can have all the fun
right at home! Our kids were happy to spend time
maneuvering their cars, trucks and trains all over town
- all it took was the vehicles and a little imagination! |

Learning Carpets says that there
carpets are soil and stain resistant...good, they better
be! We didn't have any of our kids go beyond their
normal wear and tear, and we didn't poor any grape juice
on to check out clean-up-ability, but you've been
warned! As with any product in this category, it
is going to get beat up a bit. By soil and stain
protecting them Learning Carpets is ahead of the game -
and that's about the best you can ask for! Each
carpet does have a latex gel skid proof backing for
added durability. Bottom line, it's a carpet that
is going to get walked on by little feet and spilled on
by little cups, so we can't go higher than 4 stars, but
Learning Carpets has truly prepared its product for the
worst! |

Our kids loved, loved, loved the
Giant Road! And after we explored some of Learning
Carpets other designs we love those too! Bright,
colorful and creative - Learning Carpets has done a
great job in design - our kids were drawn to this fun
carpet! |

It unrolls and it holds up for all
sorts of creative play - can't ask for much more than
that. But...some of our parents still dd. It
seems that if you have a child with an active
imagination, this is the perfect gift. If your
child needs a little extra stimulation, as some of our
review kids did, then maybe some included cars or
buildings would provide the extra push they need for
pretend play. |

As always, this is one of the
toughest categories for a product. On a blind
survey our parents came in well below the $39.99 price
point - some figured this carpet would cost half as much
as it does. On the other hand, Learning Carpets
designs are top notch, and it is made to be as durable
as possible. Add in the educational and therapist
input that went into the design and you start to see
where some of those dollars went. |

There are other play carpets out
there that offer similar type of pretend play.
With that said, we chose to offer this rating to the
entire Learning Carpets line - and they scored big
points. Their product line is extensive offering
carpets perfect for pretend, perfect for games and
perfect for learning. As we said earlier, their
designs are bright and fun, and in fact original! |

Overall our Moms and Dads, and
more importantly their little ones loved playing
with the Giant Road Learning Carpet. It is
bright and fun, well designed and well made.
It is one of those simple toys that truly fosters a
child's imagination - and honestly those always
score a few extra points with us! And with
such a wide variety of carpets available, there is
sure to be a design to suit your little one's
tastes! |
