Dress Me Jackets are a
jacket and toy in one. Dress Me Jackets are intended to encourage
self expression through fashion and play. The denim jacket is
embellished with pink stitching, rhinestones and pink lining and
includes a fabric doll on the reverse with Velcro strips (embroidered on
the jacket). Each jacket comes with a purse and fourteen
interchangeable doll accessories allowing girls to "play" with their
jacket. Characters included are a ballerina and princess, and
accessories include items such as hair, hair barrettes/crowns, and
clothing (stored in the purse). Other accessories can
be purchased separately.

Seriously - we're talking little
girls, fashion and accessories. For most, no other
toy would come as naturally for them to play with!
The jean jacket is adorable, and it won't take your
lucky little girl long to put that on. Add the
purse to the mix and you've just accessorized - or so
you thought. Once our little reviewers opened the
purse and saw what was inside it didn't take them long
at all to figure the fun out. Jackets were off and
the real accessories were added. The laughter, the
smiles and the fashion shows began shortly thereafter -
with all of our girls really enjoying mixing and
matching. All accessories attach easily with
velcro. Easy to use for sure! |

The jean jacket and the purse are
both made extremely well. And while the
accessories are a little lightweight, our Moms and Dads
didn't note any specific breakdown. The only thing
that seemed to come apart at all was a little bit of the
faux feather around the purse. Other than that -
no concerns. |

Absolutely adorable - that's what
our Moms said. And there was no hard sell to get
our little reviewers to play with and wear the
jacket...and of course none wanted to put the purse down
even for a second. It doesn't get better than

We turned to our Moms and Dads on
this one. First off, they were happy to note that
the jacket wears well, and their little ladies enjoyed
wearing it. Next, they were all certain to comment
on the purse and how it seemed to permanently attach
itself to their girls' arms. And all of our
parents were pleased with how much the girls loved
putting the different dolls on the jacket, then dressing
and re-dressing. It's clothing - it's a toy - and
it's packed with top notch function! |

Well, our parents didn't honestly
see this coming. Our reviewers tend to be on the
conservative side when it comes to prices - and for
many, a jeans jacket that their daughter will grow out
of sooner rather than later needs to be inexpensive -
not almost $70. Yes there is a purse included.
Yes there are accessories for fun. But for many on
our team the price was still too high. Although
many did note that if you were used to paying high
prices for children's couture then this could certainly
fit within the budget.
COMMENT: Since the
review was completed, retail pricing on Dress Me Jacket
has dropped from $69.99 all the way down to $52.50!
Still a bit pricey per the parameters set by our review
team, but getting closer to the type of price range that
more families could afford! That is good news! |

A jeans jacket and toy that is
totally customizable - yep, none of our parents had ever
seen anything this cute or this fun when it comes to
clothing for their little ladies. All of our
parents agreed this was super fun and super original!

really feel bad when pricing is the only thing
holding a product back from earning all five stars -
but unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) that is
where we are at here. Other than the price
point, our Moms and Dads could not have been any
happier with Dress Me Jackets. All of our
little girls loved the jacket and loved the chance
to play and accessorize. If this price point
is within your budget - our parents say five stars
all the way. Otherwise, they recommend buying
it a little big so your girl can have it even
longer! |
