WaterBuds are a little invention that intends to create an easy, re-usable solution for quick bottle identification.  The soft rubber charm is attached to an expandable ring sized to fit snugly around the neck of a water bottle.

1. Pick the design you like best - WaterBuds come in a variety of styles with designs that aim to match every mood and occasion

2. Snap your WaterBud on your bottle - they can also be used by pulling them around handles of mugs, looping them through pull tabs of soft drinks or wrapping them around straws

3. Be able to tell your bottle apart from others - claim it as your own, but let the bottle do your talking

INDIVIDUAL CATEGORY RATINGS

EASE OF USE WaterBuds are exactly as easy to use as you would expect them to be.  Once our review team was able to convince the kids to stop arguing over who gets which one and just pick, it took a quick second to snap on the bottles and loop around the drinks.  And once there - they did exactly what they are supposed to do - identify which drink belongs to which person.  Easy as can be!

DURABILITY The parents on our review team saw no major cause for concern in the durability department.  More concern was for accidentally throwing them away while still attached to a bottle.  Other than that, as long as you keep an eye on each of these little WaterBuds they should last a lifetime.

VISUAL APPEAL No questions here - they are absolutely adorable.  All of the parents and all of the kids on the review teams enjoyed sorting through the WaterBuds and picking out which were their favorites.  Cute!

FUNCTIONALITY WaterBuds have one mission and one mission alone - to help people identify which drink is theirs.  And WaterBuds fill that role perfectly.  Our reviewers did feel that the overall uses were somewhat limited, but this isn't a multi-purpose tool - it is a drink identifier.  And when it comes to making it easier for people to remember which drink is their own, WaterBuds will have you covered.

COST EFFICIENCY At just under $5 per four pack, our review team was actually surprised to find a novelty product like this that wasn't overpriced.  Look, like our reviewers said, if these cost a lot of money there would be no way they would make strong recommendations on a product like this - but priced right around $1.25 each, our review team was happy to pile on the positives.

ORIGINALITY Many of the parents on our review team have seen small objects with a similar purpose often used for wine or martinis in adult settings.  While none had really considered using for kids drinks, they still felt they couldn't score these too highly in the originality category.

OVERALL RATING

When the parents on our review team first took a look at WaterBuds we can honestly report back that not many thought this would be a five star product.  But think about it, they are so fun looking kids really like using them, and they really help kids remember which drink is theirs.  You are going to stop the spread of germs and stop wasting extra bottles of drinks.  And best of all, they are not so expensive that parents wouldn't want to spend the money.  Put all of that together and we've got a five star product!
